Fragmented Light explores a dancer’s constant endeavour to manifest an outwardly beautiful and serene exterior, whilst challenging the body to its limits. This behind-the-scenes experiment references injuries that dancers often have: Vicky had not danced in public for 15 months following surgery to her knee, an injury which ended her career with the Royal Ballet.
