Slate Mine, 2017
The location for this project is a disused slate quarry in Little Langdale in the Lake District in North West England. The ethereal lines illuminate the majestic and sombre walls of these vast, cavernous spaces. The dramatic images of this abandoned mine are a meditation on the brutality of human intervention, while offering hope through their transformative beauty.
