Light drawings
Fine Art Society, Bond Street, London
This body of light drawings takes as its subject epiphytes – organisms that grow on the surface of other plants, but unlike parasites, do not feed on their host, but rather derive nutrients from the air, rain, water or from debris accumulating around them. The same as any other organism, epiphytes take part in nutrient cycles and add to both the diversity and biomass of the ecosystem in which they are found.
